I am live from the Gildan New Mexico Bowl where my Washington State Cougars will participate in their first bowl since they took down mighty Texas in the Holiday Bowl in 2005. Do you all remember that? It has been a long Bowl and Rocky Bowl drought. But, Bill Moos said last night at the Dirty Bourboun (Cougar Headquarters) that this is just the beginning. Let's go Cougs! (Thats my last shame-less plug).You see, without the Rocky Bowl, you might not care less about this bowl in Albuquerque NM. But, now you will care and you will put 35 points on the mighty Cougars. They will not disappoint. Then you will sit on your couch, watch the game with special interest, watch your Twitter feed for @rockybowl updates from TopCoug live from the game, and wait until you know that your 35 pts will be secure. Then you will watch the Las Vegas Bowl and then even the Famous Idaho Potato bowl. You will agonize over your bad picks and rejoice on your smart ones. It is up to you to convince your significant other that all your Christmas shopping is done and you could be the next Rocky Bowl Champion, Bobbi Breeze award winner or ... dare I say, The Toilet Bowl winner. Your accomplishments will be recorded in internet posterity at rockybowl.com.
After the games today, you might ask, "When will the Master Sheet be done and posted on the web-site. When can I go to http://rockybowl.com or http://rockybowl2014.blogspot.com and check the leaderboard see how I did on day1. Well, that is a question I cannot answer. You see, Rocky is on his own to Copy, Paste Special and Transpose your selection sheets to the Master. Then, I need to sober up from the Cougar Parties after our victory and get home tomorrow, check his work, fix all of his white trash induced mistakes and then get the sheet formatted, double checked and posted. be patient ... It will come.
Then it will be up to you to check all of our work. You will have until Friday 12/27 to discover any anomalies for our work and submit a challenge. Even though it will likely be ignored, you MUST do it

Mr. Stafford, your analysis? Was the object of the 2013-2014 RockyBowl to pick the LOSERS as that is how it seems to be going. Sheesh. College Bowl games.

DeleteMrs. Schlicker. Yes, it appears that some of us are opting to win the Toilet Bowl this year rather than the coveted Bobbi Breeze or Tournament Champion honors. This may be related to Coug'in it. But, I am NOT ready to talk about that yet. But, I will as a part of my therapy.

Well, another generation of WSU fans has learned the verb used mainly in the State of Washington: "Coug," as in "Coug'd it," "Coug'in' it," or..."to Coug it" (meaning, "to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory").
