Ted "Rocky Bowl Father" Skaarup --
The most bizarre thing has happened in the Rocky Bowl and I must reach out to the smartest person in the group for an answer. It is a task I can only ask someone who will truly get to the mystifying probability of it ever happening once or again.
If you go to the Master score sheet you will find two entries EXACTLY the same: Payton "Pay Way" Redelsheimer and Jimmy "the Greek" Malevitsis. We have confirmed by reviewing each entry form (Both sent in several days before the deadline) and have confirmed with each bowler that their entries were correct.
What I would like to know is the odds of this happening, it is not a mistake. Not only were the games selected the same but the EXACT values placed on each game. "Pay Way" is a approximately 14 yrs old living in Kansas and the "The Greek" is 60 living in Seattle. If you have time and the interest ,I would love to hear your perception of this bizarre event to publish on the blog.

Rocky Bowl Party, Saturday 12/28, 3:00pm
Rocky Bowlers,
I hope Santa was good to all of you and that you enjoyed the holiday. In 33 minutes the bowls begin again with Bowling Green kicking it off again Pittsburgh. It now begins to get wild and crazy with lead changes and more movement then when gram pa downs a quart of prune juice.
Ok on to serious news about the Rocky Bowl Party. I have been told t-shirts are on the way thanks to our GREAT friends at Wingfoot, Brett, Brady and Tom you always over do it thank you. To get a t-shirt you must attend the party. (We regret not everyone will get one but most will )
Saturday we will kick things off here at Rocky Bowl HQ at 3:00 and take it right through the last game ending after 11:00 so if you can come early and stay late GREAT or any thing in between. The leader in attendance at the RB will be wearing the yellow jersey and I encourage the newbies to wear warm clothing as a lot goes on outdoors. We encourage adults drinks, (please provide your own) cigars are always fun and with dry weather forecast it appears to be the best of all circumstances.
We will be serving Steaks, Caesar Salad, Cheesy Potatoes, Deserts and always a variety of appetizers So not only is the fellowship great but the food is also. We have several bowlers coming in from out of town, from Kansas, California, and Idaho but I would like to get a good head count so please reply to Rockybowl@live.com how many will be coming with you.
You will likely get some additional notices regarding the party and hope you can join us for a great evening, this Saturday.

The Rocky Bowl Master Sheet is posted for Review
Well, the score sheet is up and published (check the links on the left). We ask that you review your picks and if you find any mistakes or missing entries let us know asap. Just reply to email and we will be right on to it. If you are missing from the list just find your old sent email with
your picks and forward it to rockybowl@live.
Also note the tabs at the bottom of the page to see each game results and as the bowling continues watch for more tabs to be added.
For the newbies, use the BlogSpot site for updates, you can add your own posts, comments and if you want to start a blog and you can always send it to rockybowl@live and we will post it or just rebroadcast from emails. We do try to avoid boatloads of emails so utilize the blogs if you can. Bragging, taunts, total disrespect is welcomed and encouraged but please use appropriate as we have younger, and lady bowlers.
As for the score sheet we have 5 bowlers without a win, ones a cop, one a golfer, one is a kid, one a lawyer and a nephew. But they were all on the Cougs on Saturday. They experienced what it is like to be Coug'd and the greatest 4th Quarter collapse in Rockybowl history. Swing your Sword baby.
Take the time to read the score sheet and use the columns to compare your number of pts lost, behind the leader, and the all important column pts remaining. (We have 3 perfect bowlers atm)
So continue to utilize the blog sheet and enjoy the bowling and DO NOT forget the Rocky Bowl party this coming Saturday, to celebrate that half way point. Going over 100 entries this year we plan on some VERY special food and more.

Let's get this Rocky Bowl Started ...

Are you ready? Did you get your picks submitted to rockybowl@live.com. The first Bowl game is hours and minutes away depending on when you read this post. 11:00 am PDT is the kickoff.
I am live from the Gildan New Mexico Bowl where my Washington State Cougars will participate in their first bowl since they took down mighty Texas in the Holiday Bowl in 2005. Do you all remember that? It has been a long Bowl and Rocky Bowl drought. But, Bill Moos said last night at the Dirty Bourboun (Cougar Headquarters) that this is just the beginning. Let's go Cougs! (Thats my last shame-less plug).
You see, without the Rocky Bowl, you might not care less about this bowl in Albuquerque NM. But, now you will care and you will put 35 points on the mighty Cougars. They will not disappoint. Then you will sit on your couch, watch the game with special interest, watch your Twitter feed for @rockybowl updates from TopCoug live from the game, and wait until you know that your 35 pts will be secure. Then you will watch the Las Vegas Bowl and then even the Famous Idaho Potato bowl. You will agonize over your bad picks and rejoice on your smart ones. It is up to you to convince your significant other that all your Christmas shopping is done and you could be the next Rocky Bowl Champion, Bobbi Breeze award winner or ... dare I say, The Toilet Bowl winner. Your accomplishments will be recorded in internet posterity at rockybowl.com.
After the games today, you might ask, "When will the Master Sheet be done and posted on the web-site. When can I go to http://rockybowl.com or http://rockybowl2014.blogspot.com and check the leaderboard see how I did on day1. Well, that is a question I cannot answer. You see, Rocky is on his own to Copy, Paste Special and Transpose your selection sheets to the Master. Then, I need to sober up from the Cougar Parties after our victory and get home tomorrow, check his work, fix all of his white trash induced mistakes and then get the sheet formatted, double checked and posted. be patient ... It will come.
Then it will be up to you to check all of our work. You will have until Friday 12/27 to discover any anomalies for our work and submit a challenge. Even though it will likely be ignored, you MUST do it
Then you can sit back and enjoy the remainder of the Rocky Bowl season. Remember to visit the Blog and post your comments. They are appreciated and read by all. Right? And if you have any blog ideas, please submit them to rockybowl@live.com.

Hello Rocky Bowlers ...
The three wise men (known to some as Rocky Bowl Commissioners) want to welcome the new, the past, the young and the old Rocky Bowlers back for another great year.
For a measly $20 entry fee (… and a chance to win big $$$), you will have 35 bowl games to evaluate, prognosticate and guess. If you have been a Rocky Bowler in the past you understand it is not so easy. If you’re new to the Rocky Bowl you will find out in a year or two it is entirely luck for some and true skill for others. In most years, the top finishers are the young and naïve.
You can find the Selection Sheet in the left column of this blog under "Rocky Bowl Links". Clicking, downloading, reading and following directions is your first step to your chance for big fun and winnings. Feel free to review the blog post "Submitting a Rocky Bowl Selection Sheet for dummies ... ". Remember, all entries and $$$ must be received prior to the start time of first game. 11:00am PT, Dec 21. PayPal Users --- Please only indicate that this is for Services rendered --- No references to a pool or betting please.
Once again we will pay out big prize money and the balance after minimal expenses for the Rocky Bowl party will go to charity near and dear to a Rocky Bowl participants heart. Last year the Rocky Bowl donated $425.00 to Multi Care Health Foundation "Hospice" in honor of Barbara "Bling" Mason. We welcome input on the 2014 Rocky Bowl charity and will announce it before the final bowl game.
Last year, Rocky Bowlers enjoyed the latest in the internet craze and joined Twitter (http://twitter.com/rockybowl), Facebook (Friends of Rocky Bowl) and Windows Live (email: rockybowl@live.com). We will keep everyone updated with score sheets and access to the blog at http://rockybowl2014.blogspot.com. There will be prizes along the way for insightful and humorous comments and blog posts. Submitting a Rocky Bowl Selection Sheet for dummies ...

If you are here, you figured out this years Rocky Bowl Site URL. Nice work! The Rocky Bowl Selection sheet for 2013-2014 is available in the links on the left of this page. Please download and follow the directions below c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y.
Entry Rules - Simple 10 Step Process (For most)
1) Select a winner of each game by entering a number 1 - 35 confidence factor for your choice.
2) Ensure each point value is used only once. Cells with duplicate entries will have red text like this ….
3) Use the "Entered Values" column to the right to keep track of values you already entered.
4) Ensure your total Points equals MAX Pts - 630.
5) Send your completed form (with your name in the file name) to rockybowl@live.com
6) Entry Deadline: Before first game on Dec. 21th at 11:00am PT/2:00 ET before the Cougars Kick Off to the Rams.
7) $20 entry fee or other arrangements are required prior to first game kickoff.
8) Send or deliver check or cash to: Steve Long or a commissioner of your choice or
